Amgen has invited those touched by cancer - patients, survivors, caregivers, and advocates – to participate in the 2013 Breakaway Mile, an approximately half- to one-mile walk that honors and celebrates cancer survivors. Breakaway Mile participants will receive special t-shirts to wear at the event and are invited to view the race action from a private reserved viewing area near the race finish or start line.
Our VIP Tent will be hosting a "Taste of Santa Barbara" food selection along with cold beverages at our prime viewing location along lovely Cabrillo Blvd. You will be watching the Stage 4 Finish of the Amgen Tour of California, live on our three big-screen TVs as the Pros battle for KOM over Casitas Pass, maneuver nail-biting descents, and fight for good position leading into the final sprint to the Finish! We will have signed Team Jerseys up for auction and will be unveiling Jake Early's original, limited and signed seriographed prints. Meet Jake and enjoy a glass of wine with your friends while seeing his art presented to the winner of Stage 4!
