How to Make an Honor or Memorial Gift

The Cancer Center is partially supported by revenue from operations (insurance reimbursement, Medicare and patient billing). However, philanthropy has sustained the Center for over fifty years, allowing for the purchase of important medical technology and the employment of a highly trained professional staff. Without the generous donations from individuals, foundations and corporations, the high quality cancer treatment facility we have in Santa Barbara today would not exist. In addition, philanthropy enables us to make this resource available to everyone who needs it: no patient has ever been turned away for lack of insurance or inability to pay.
