Healing Touch (HT) is a non-invasive complementary therapy which utilizes specialized light touch techniques to promote relaxation, and increase well-being. Research has shown that HT can be helpful in managing the symptoms and side effects of cancer and its treatment (such as pain, fatigue and nausea). It can also be used to relax and balance the body before surgery and to speed post-operative recovery.
HT offered free of charge to those receiving active cancer treatment; family caregivers of current patients also welcome.
