Knitting (& More)Together
Come join our new drop-in knitting (& more) group!
It's the perfect way to relax, meet others, and create beautiful projects of your choosing. Beginning and experienced knitters are welcome. Please bring your own yarn and needles, and if you have extra supplies, we welcome contributions. Knitting books and instructions will be available, and group projects will be started periodically with instruction provided by Celeste Varner of Loop & Leaf. Knit for yourself, or you may donate your knit hats to our Wig and Hat Boutique.
This group is open to patients currently in treatment, cancer survivors, and family caregivers. You may join any time.
The knitting group meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month from 1:30 to 3:00 in the Library at the Cancer Center at 540 West Pueblo Street.
