The Cancer Center of Santa Barbara understands that cancer impacts not only the patient, but also the family and friends of the patient. So we offer a variety of services geared toward the cancer caregiver, including a caregiver class, and various information and support resources.
Caring for the Caregiver Support Group
This group is designed for relatives and friends who are caring for a loved one with cancer. Learn to manage nausea, pain and fatigue and about home health resources and tools to assist in the caregiving role.
Caregiver Information Packet
A comprehensive Caregiver Packet of information for the family or friend cancer caregiver is available free of charge. The packet contains many resources such as home care, financial & disability information, online caregiver websites, and articles on communication and problem-solving.
Cancer Caregiver Support
